About the Company
eOdyn is a startup established at the end of 2015, developing technology to calculate and enhance knowledge of ocean currents by analyzing maritime traffic and ship behavior. We develop services based on this technology by implementing data processing solutions.
About the Position
You will work closely with the R&D team and contribute to the development and growth of innovative services offered by eOdyn.
You will be involved in diverse and cross-functional projects related to space, oceanography, maritime safety, and the environment, particularly with major clients.
In this context, eOdyn is looking for an experienced Software Development Engineer.
Key Responsibilities:

- Join a team where you will engage in software design, development, technical documentation, and validation of developed software.
- Manage the IT infrastructure.
- Propose innovative and industrialized technical solutions for application development, including the eOdyn data processing chain.
- Identify and address client or collaborator needs with market tools or custom solutions.
- Participate in training colleagues by identifying training needs and appropriate programs.
Working Conditions and Location

- Position based in Plouzané (29), full-time, presence on-site required but occasional remote work possible.
Compensation
-
- Based on profile and experience (40/50k€ gross annual)
Desired Profile
-
- Graduate with a higher education degree in computer science (minimum Bac+5) with at least 3 years of professional experience.
- Your development work will primarily be on a Linux platform, leveraging remote services (third-party hosted dedicated servers, cloud solutions, scientific supercomputers, etc.)
- This position offers opportunities to develop new skills and explore new technologies.
Skills:

- Cloud, S3, Kubernetes, Linux systems administration, web servers.
- IT system security.
- Python.
- Continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI-CD): Git, Gitlab-CI.
- Relational (SQL) and non-relational databases.
- IT project management.
- Design and management of data processing systems (Big Data, Machine Learning).
